TRENDY SHOES FALL-WINTER 2019. BRIGHT COLORS AND EXTRAVAGANT SHAPES.

11-NOV-2018

Styles and shapes

A completely new shoes image!
At fashion shows of the fall-winter season 2019 unusual shoes and heel shapes are in trend – this is one of the elements that fashion designers like to experiment with. Balmain presents uncommon sculptural chain-shaped heels and unusual ankle boots that are reminiscent of the porcupine needles profile.

Dior adds a less catchy but still extravagant version with an incurved heel of gilded metallic shade.
Prada fashion house suggests its own version of an unusual heel: it’s ivory and trapezoidal.
Saint Laurent, Versace and Miu Miu prefer a traditional heel focusing on the color and a variety of decorative elements

Mary-Jane style

Fans of the classics and strap shoes can feel pleased: fashion designers reintroduced the retro style called Mary-Jane, and these lovely shoes are back again on the runways, which are so suitable for creating an exquisite, feminine and refined look.

Style of the 1970s
The shoes of the seventies are back to fashion. Fashion shows in Paris and Milan present boots, ankle boots and shoes in the style of the70s: with a rounded tip, a platform and a solid heel.

What shoe types are in trend today?

Among the main characters of the new fall-winter 2019 collection are classic ankle boots and high-heeled court-shoes in the style of the 50s and 60s in the first place. Modern designers offer shoes both in the retro style and with various decorations – for example, with the Sicilian-style floral ornament, or with a decoration made of metallized strips. Versace presents its favorite Rock style: classic court-shoes with buckles and studs.

Sandals

Eccentricity and fantasy of fashion designers boggles the mind: in the new fall-winter 2019 season sandals are in trend. The most common model of the fashion shows is high-heeled sandals with one strap on the fingers and an ankle strap in black or metallized color. Sandals by Brunello Cucinelli with fur trim are of much interest.

High boots

Knee-high boots or even higher in various designs are in fashion:
- with fringe
- high boots with low heels
- with lacing along the entire boot length
- classic models with a heel in the style of the 70s
- boots with the outer fur trim – the best option for cold snowy winters.

Ankle boots

Comfortable casual ankle boots with a solid protection sole in the Biker style are extremely acute. Michael Kors compliments these boots with a bright floral print, Valentino with thorns. Models of shimmering leather by Dior resemble boots from futuristic movies and comics; Tod’s prefers silver shades, high black sole and decoration with its signature stud-stones (Gommini), which are the iconic feature of the brand.

Colors

Fashion houses focus our attention on sparklets and metallized laminated leather of silver, platinum and gold shades.
The main character of the fall-winter season will be yellow: both shoes of yellow colors, and the Total Look.
Red color never goes out of fashion; it is included in the fashion shows of all the famous brands.

Embroidery and prints

In the coming season, spots are back again.
The magnificent baroque style hasn’t also been forgotten: designers add appliques and decorative elements to the shoes of bright saturated colors.
Embroidery and relief ornamental patterns are the main trend of the fall-winter season 2019.
